Audubon K-8 School is located in the Lomita Village area. Most of our children reside in the Lomita Village area. The neighborhood is composed of older, single-family houses. Enrollment and ethnic distribution have remained stable over the last 11 years.
We educate students from Pre-K through grade 8. Following the positive school climate rules is part of our school culture. Audubon offers a balanced program to our diverse population. Our curriculum is aligned with state-adopted frameworks and guidelines. We successfully implemented the SBRC to show how our students are progressing.
Our school community collectively addresses the needs of the whole child and takes an active role in student learning. We work together to provide a child-centered, developmentally appropriate, safe, secure and supportive learning environment. Students are encouraged to become lifelong learners and empowered to acquire strategies to become critical thinkers and problem solvers.
