We are the Bobcats, and the pride of Mountain View community. Ours is a true neighborhood school where students can feel at home.
Our urban campus offers a park setting with its proximity to San Diego Park. Academically we provide a a comprehensive core curriculum aimed at starting our students with the strongest possible foundation to build scholastic success. Plus, students benefit from enrichment that brings them added technology, dance and music classes.
We're proud of our Bobcat News program highlights our many school events and lets the kids be in charge to spread the good news of our accomplishments.
Our character education program centers around the colorful storybook "Inch and Miles," by inspirational writer and former basketball Hall of Fame coach John Wooden. The program rewards kids for demonstrating strong character and behavior with treats and special recognition. Our students face many challenges and the vast majority are still learning English fluency. At Baker, we focus on providing high expectations and strong leadership to help all students reach their potential.
