Located in the residential community of Paradise Hills, Mary McLeod Bethune K-8 School serves 650 students from kindergarten through middle school. The school facility is clean, orderly, safe, and provides a climate that sets high expectations for students both in academic performance and behavior. Students who attend Bethune are provided with a comprehensive curriculum with an emphasis on reading, writing, science, mathematics, and social studies. In addition, the school offers music and technology programs that enrich the education of interested students.
The transition from an elementary school to K-8 school began in 2007 and finished in 2010. This conversion allows each student to experience a personalized education from kindergarten all the way through 8th grade. Our middle school provides rigorous curriculum and electives that utilize technology and support the development of adolescents.
