Cadman Elementary is a small neighborhood school in the community of Clairemont in San Diego. A family atmosphere has been created and maintained at our site between parents, students, staff and community members. We value and strive to continually build relationships with families and community members to enhance our family atmosphere to positively support all students. Our student population includes neighborhood students, as well as those who participate in the VEEP and School Choice program. This wonderful blend of students is reflective of our city's diversity and helps our students learn to respect others and work and play harmoniously. This carefully maintained atmosphere and environment has positively affected our student achievement and this year we were awarded the prestigious California Distinguished School Award.
Our Single Plan for Student Achievement supports our mission statement by providing a school plan that has high academic expectations for all children, while also being responsive to their individual academic, social and emotional needs. Cadman is a California Distinguished School and a STAR Arts focused site.
