Welcome to Doyle Elementary School, where our mission is to provide a program with high expectations for academic achievement in a multi-cultural setting, fostering positive self-esteem through the collaborative efforts of staff, students, parents, and community.
Our home is a very unique community. On one hand it is the well-established University City neighborhood, with single-family homes, condominiums and apartments. On the other hand, Doyle is an international school, as many of our students are children of professors, researchers, staff and students of UC San Diego. This creates a very energetic learning environment.
Our large and unique school is one of many languages, with more than 30 spoken by our students. These include the native languages of Korea, China, Japan, Israel, Russia, India and Mexico. Because many parents are UCSD students or professors, students may remain at Doyle for only one semester or one year.
Doyle would not be the incredible school that it is without our committed teachers, staff, parents and volunteers.
