Welcome to the best kept secret in San Diego! East Village Middle College High School (EVMCHS) We are a small, personalized learning environment located on the campus of San Diego City College (SDCC). As part of the Middle College National Consortium (MCNC) EVMCHS benefits from a unique partnership with SDCC in which students are dual enrolled each semester earning up to 11 weighted college credits. This partnership provides students with a challenging, non-traditional high school experience in a college learning environment.
EVMCHS graduates regularly complete in excess of 40 college credits while in high school and gain acceptance to "Top Tier, Four Year" universities throughout the country.

An Enhanced Curriculum
All students take both high school and college courses. In the 9th and 10th grade, you'll be taught by San Diego Unified School credentialed teachers and given extensive support to prepare for college-level courses. In 11th and 12th grade, upperclassmen move up to a combination of high school and college classes while still getting extra academic support.
