Hoover High School is located in an ethnically diverse neighborhood of San Diego serving students primarily from City Heights.  Hoover’s student body of approximately 2,300 students is rich in cultural diversity, welcoming students from a variety of backgrounds, origins, and languages.  “Diversity” is a tenet of our “Cardinal PRIDE” mantra, as we embrace our differences, yet are proud and united as Hoover Cardinals.
