Public Services

Public Services prepares students for work provided to citizens, including emergency services, legal services and public safety. Careers in public service are unique because they center on challenging issues that define the public agenda and involve the provision of vital services to the public, from local to international levels. These industries serve as the largest employers in San Diego County. Internships in this program may occur in police stations, emergency centers, or government offices.
