High School
San Diego Unified high schools prepare students for success in college and the career of their choice. Students have the chance to follow their passions and refine the skills that they began developing in middle school. This includes scholarship-level programs for student-athletes and also college-level courses for academic achievement. In fact, San Diego Unified students complete thousands of college-level courses every year while still in high school, expanding their options following graduation.
San Diego Unified high schools also offer a robust series of career and technical classes ranging from the arts and software design to automotive repair for those students who are already certain of their future careers. We encourage every parent to schedule a tour of their neighborhood school to learn more about the programs and opportunities that are available.
